• underwent a competitive screening process involving environmental essay discourse drafting and one-on-one panel interviews with the Dean of the UPV College of Fisheries & Ocean Sciences Dean and the Director of the UPV-CFOS Institute of Marine Fisheries & Oceanology (IMFO). • selected as 1 of the five delegates of the University of the Philippines to represent the Philippines in a fully-funded international environmental leadership program last hosted by the National University of Singapore and in partnership with Temasek Foundation. This program is a five-day exchange of lectures, hands-on workshops, field trips, and presentations revolving around climate change and environmental sustainability to promote environmental stewardship and build a network of youth leaders across the ASEAN region and in Asia. • co-authored a research study entitled "Carbon Sequestration and Income Potential of Gardening in Pockets of Urban Households: The Case of Iloilo City, Philippines" which focuses on creating a household pocket gardening model curated based on a conducted survey that can be used as a basis for climate change policies and urban C-reduction efforts in Philippine and global cities. • awarded as Champion out of 20 teams from Singapore and ASEAN countries for the Environmental Research Paper and 1st Runner Up for the Environmental Research Poster on the study presented.
