I have taken classes with LeAnn when we were both at U of M-Dearborn. It was here I had the opportunity to work on many group projects with her, and also get together to discuss and study these course outside of the classroom. Any time we had a project, LeAnn was always on time with her deadlines. She also contributed her share and then some to the project. She is a very hard working, and dedicated person. I would recommend her for any position she may be applying to.

I have been LeAnn's immediate manager since September 2005. I have been consistently impressed by both LeAnn's attitude towards her work and her performance on the job. Her interpersonal and communication skills have allowed her to develop productive working relationships with both our clients and our staff. LeAnn authored documentation for the department’s training center and coached new staff members. She has the analytic skills to diagnose problems and devise viable solutions. Her ability to remain unflustered during frenzied periods proves her ability to work well under pressure. Her job duties include: -Acquire, Clean, Audit, Update Book, Magazine, Music and Video data used to drive the Borders Purchasing system. An item couldn’t be purchased until she had it setup in the system. -Communicate with our internal Buyers and external Vendors regarding errors in their item data and to follow-up on their requests for service. -Maintain our Bibliographic data using information supplied by our Vendors, including Cost, Retail Price, Status, Sales Rights, Author, Edition, Volume etc. -Responsible for our Supplier Website used to acquire Images, Reviews, Annotations, Author Bio’s and embedded Video clips for the Borders.com Website. -Ran weekly MS Access queries and reports to standardize/report on our data. -Primary data contact for our Borders International store partners Tools used include: AS/400 data entry and uploads, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access as well as Borders Proprietary software systems. She lost her job due the bankruptcy and subsequent liquidation of the Borders/Walden Bookstore chain, which prior to their downfall, was a Fortune 500 company of 1,200 store locations. LeAnn worked in the Home Office. I recommend her for employment without reservation. Please let me know if you need further information.
