Bio
Scott Johnson
I had the pleasure of working with Martin for a year at the Security Operations and Intelligence Center of the World Bank in Washington, DC. During the course of that time, I observed Martin demonstrate his skill sets during responses to a variety of emergency situations, both locally and abroad. Martin is a first-rate security professional with a genuine passion for the profession and it shows in his work. When Martin takes on a task, he creates a thorough, thought out, polished and professional product. I can personally attest to his performance under pressure and ability to work to very tight deadlines. He's reliable, steadfast, and confident in the abilities that he's acquired over the course of his impressive career. I was lucky to have him on my team.

I met Martin Robles in January 2003 during the preoperational training preparing for the 8th Swiss KFOR Contingency of the Peace Support Operation in Kosovo. I was Second in Command of the Swiss Company in which Martin led the Mechanized Infantry Platoon. During the short preoperational training of 3 months, which took place both in Switzerland as well as in Austria, Martin was responsible for the training and building of his platoon into a close knit working formation, at which he was very successful. During the mission deployment to Kosovo, Martin proved to be a detailed planner and a quick assessor of situations, as well as a strong leader, working within the Multinational Task Force Dulje which consisted of Swiss, Austrian and German forces. In stressful situations, he was always able to keep a clear head and to focus on the situation and mission with which he was tasked. Through his loyalty, openness, dedication and good sense of humor Martin quickly gained the respect of his platoon as well as his superiors, both within the Swiss, German and Austrian contingency as well as from the local population with which he had close contact. Martin has a quick mind, is able to see the global picture of a situation while still spotting the relevant details. He is a valuable team member, who does not shy away from taking on responsibilities and has strong leadership qualities.
