    • Director Health & Safety
      • Jan 2020 - May 2022

The primary goal is to always be working to create a culture of safe habits in all employees, as well as keeping them informed on how to be safe and compliant to laws and regulations. I am always working to organize and optimize the Safety Division to be as efficient as possible, not only in time spent on necessary tasks, but also with the resources that are under the Safety Division's umbrella of responsibilities. My goal is to make the Safety Division operate as lean as possible while still exceeding requirements and expectations. This has all came as a larger challenge given the addition of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ever-evolving information and guidelines that need to be understood, communicated and respected throughout the entire company. Worked to build a structured Marketing department that would accompany the Sales department in reaching mutual and individual departmental goals. We exceeded sales goals, expanded our market share and were able to further grow the brand and company during my time here. Working for small business required me to do whatever was asked of me, from whoever needed assistance, like work with aesthetics around the facilities from the buildings themselves down to the furniture inside. I was not an expert at all the tasks I was given, but I welcome the challenge and opportunity to never stop learning and growing. Show less

    • Senior Counselor
      • Jun 2016 - Aug 2017

I supervised 14 to sometimes over 20 counselors around the clock whose ages ranged from college to middle age, as well as being responsible for the kids who were in their care and any problems or issues that may arise. With days commonly being over 15 or more hours, I had to manage my time so that I could be growing personally in my faith, while spending time building relationships with the counselors to mentor them and help them with their encounters with difficult situations whether it be at camp, or in their own personal lives. In addition, I was building positive relationships with the 60 other staff members along with assisting with the physical labor duties and projects around camp. Show less

The main priority was to be a positive presence in each of the customer’s lives and deliver a great customer service experience, then was the responsibility of memorizing the entire menu by heart and executing proper recipes when ordered. After proving I was successful at both of those requirements, I began working alone, and was in charge of closing the stand as well as making sure that it was properly cleaned and prepped for the opening shift the following morning. All of these things were not only required to maintain employment, but also needed to be done quickly and with a sense of urgency at all times with little-to-no room for error. Positive relationships were built with my coworkers as we worked shoulder-to-shoulder, serving a mass of customers on a daily basis, restocking the stand with all the ingredients that were being actively depleted throughout the shifts, and working to create and maintain an environment where we not only served our customers but also one another. • Barn Manager/Machine Operator
      • Jul 2008 - Sep 2013

Most of my time was managing the seed processing barn, making sure that seed ran around the clock and was properly packaged, stacked and stored before customers came to pick up their designated shipments. I operated different machinery like combines and forklifts, consistently maintained a clean and organized barn and property, as well as met with customers or representatives from different organizations when they came for product testing, had questions about product, or were looking for the owners. I worked long days and nights, helping to further instill a good work ethic and was given the satisfaction of seeing all of the rooms and bays full of the tons and tons of raw, harvested seed be processed and packaged, awaiting eventual shipment.
