Collaborative, skilled networker, great facilitator are some of the traits that immediately comes to my mind when i think of Manjeet. I have had an opportunity to manage and work with Manjeet for over 5 years (on and off) during my tenure at Clean Energy Nepal. During this period, he had always been one of the key individual that I and the organization could always depend on. I have seen first hand his progress from volunteer to program director in Clean Energy Nepal to Climate policy analyst now at Climate Analytics and I must say this progress didn't come easy. He is one of the most hard working individual I've met in my professional career. Team working and well-rounded communication comes naturally to him. He excels at providing astute and concise analysis of the situation and this has been possible only because of his well rounded and well informed knowledge not only of his subject of interest (climate change) but also of other important global affairs. I will him for continued success and i certainly hope we will have opportunity to work together in future

I am glad to write this brief recommendation for Manjeet Dhakal. I worked with Manjeet intermittently at different capacity - supervisor of his master thesis research, co-team member of various networks, public advocacy forums, capacity building initiatives for emerging youth leaders, and, climate change policy dialogues. He is among top 3 emerging leaders I have known in the field of climate change in Nepal. He has demonstrated his ability in successfully driving environmental and climate advocacy, running a civil society organization, and building networks at community, national, regional and international levels for rights of climate change affected people from Nepal and developing world among others. I see him immense potential to lead Nepal to play a meaningful role in setting national and regional climate agendas in the days ahead. Wishing him all the success in his mission!
