*Employed at Herman Kay since June of 2012 in various departments. Freelance was in addition to my full time job.Establish the fit of Michael Kors women’s outerwear by measuring, fitting, and reviewing all fit, PP, and TOP samples and sending fit corrections while remaining on production schedule. Position requires time management and high organization skills and is well rounded in technical design and production.*Styles have included packable downs, quilts, "spring" soft shells, coated cottons, trenches, anoraks, downs, heavy downs, packable downs, soft shells, and quilts. *Responsible for receiving and organizing all orders from various stores. Stores include Michael Kors Stores, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Macys.com, Burlington, Karsdat, and more.*Keep record of over 100 styles fit in missy, petite, and women's.*Measure samples for fitting and analyze that revisions were made from previous fitting.*Lead fitting on fit model with Michael Kors design team and production manager.*Write/ send fit comments and pattern corrections to various factories.*Ensure that down weight is the same from season to season.*Maintain fit schedule and prioritize by ship out ("x") dates.*Track fit, PP, and TOP samples by creating and managing charts for different factories.*Issue graded spec for each style in missy, petite, and women's.*Ensure that designer's vision for all styles is executed as originally designed.*Schedule factory inspections for all styles in Hong Kong and follow up with production manager on any major issues.*Support the MK sales team with urgent samples needed from factory for customer.*Send weekly T&A sample chart to production manager.*Train and teach assistant technical designer all duties and company polices.*Throughout all daily duties maintaining the Michael Kors integrity is a constant focus.

Sole technical designer of dress division responsible for all technical duties from initial development through production.*Responsible for redirecting the fit of Miss Sixty Dresses during relaunch of brand.*Create tech packs for all styles listing each detail, providing sketches, and specs based on fabric quality.*Spec each sample for fitting.*Conduct fitting on live fit model and decide on fit corrections with design director.*Create fit comments and discuss with factories all corrections to be made.*Communicate directly with overseas factories and local patternmakers to make sure requested style and fit is correct.*Create graded specs for each individual style for production.*Create and follow fit schedule according to in warehouse due date.*Organize development patterns according to delivery.*Organize and track digital patterns for library of all TOP samples.*Log each step of every garment making sure production schedule is followed.*Review size runs from factory/ warehouse for quality and specs.
