    • Product Manager
      • Aug 2022 - Present

As Product Manager, I focus on understanding our users' needs so they can obtain valuable insights on their hormonal health through our product, working with the technical product teams to build a product users will love, and developing an application that will empower users throughout their lifetime.

    • Business Operations
      • May 2021 - Aug 2022

As the first business operations hire, my job was to lay the groundwork to build an exceptional company and lend a hand on the business side. In this role, I: developed our OKR system, supported hiring, worked on ethos for org development, helped write grants, conducted customer discovery sessions and research, and strategized go-to-market plans with leadership.

In my time at Accenture, much of my work was focused on HR transformation and change management. Along the way, I have learned about human-centered design and found ways to incorporate it into my client work. My work in HR transformation at a Canadian government agency gave me exposure to business process redesign, functional design, and requirements analysis. It provided a map of the workings of an organization's HR function, and their impact across the business. As a member of an HR information system implementation team, I became familiar with deployment methodology and best practices. My first project in the financial services space honed my skills as a change management practitioner, strategizing the change management approach and tactics given the needs of the organization and scope of the change. Collaborating with the business and a tight-knit team to transition 3,000 employees through the change, my communication, analysis and problem solving skills developed significantly through this experience. In my last project, I led a small team dedicated to supporting an internal division and a network of 10,000 external partners through a massive operational and cultural change. My team engaged with front-line staff and managers to understand what they needed to feel supported, and as the lead, I worked with senior client leadership to plan how to enable teams through the transformation. Along the way, we conducted interviews, ran simulations, and designed feedback mechanisms to ensure the content and resources we developed supported the needs of our internal and external stakeholders. Alongside a group of 9 other fabulous TAs, I worked with our lead professor to teach resume and cover letter writing skills, the application and interview process, networking and personal and professional development. As someone who is passionate about people development, this opportunity allowed me to develop my skills as a facilitator to spark discussion and ideas in a large group setting. Show less

    • Intern, IT Project Coordination
      • Jan 2016 - Aug 2016

During my 8 month internship with Newmont (formerly Goldcorp), I had the pleasure of working on a project team that implemented SAP's HRIS SuccessFactors across several of mining operations: the Corporate Office in Vancouver, Cerro Negro mine in Argentina, Musselwhite Mine and Porcupine Gold Mine in Ontario. I learned a lot about the logistics and phases of project implementation, as well as about the complex wonders of the mining industry. My responsibilities specific to my title involved coordinating communication among a team made up of: a program manager, a project manager, a business analyst, an organizational change management specialist, a sustainment lead and 5 contracted consultants. I worked closely with the program and project managers to communicate with all relevant parties and stakeholders, including company VPs. Outside of my role, I gained a great deal of experience in systems testing, building training documentation, user communication, and People Analytics. Show less

Saved company $4000 by manually analyzing and entering data in a span of 5 hours: the company's other option was to hire a programmer who would have spent 20 hours creating a program to enter said data. Accelerated Accounts Payables' transition to an EFT payment system by reducing an estimated month-long process into a 3 day period through data entry and vendor communication. Effectively communicated materials from a 2-day managers' conference to 8 branch managers, the company CEO, and the business development lead through comprehensive notes and powerpoint presentations.
