I was very impressed with Kim. It is a demanding position in a fast-paced work environment and Kim handled a multitude of responsibilities with confidence. I could rely on her to work independently, complete deadlines, interact with clients, tackle research projects, and to help with any project when asked. She was meticulous in following up with me and clients. I was most impressed by her professional demeanor and poise, which is unusual for someone so young, but Kim has been in the workforce for many years and it shows. An excellent all-around-candidate.

Kimberly Walsh took two courses with me over that past two years: Fundamentals of Community and Environmental Planning (CEP 614) and Tourism Planning and Development (TOUR 615). These were writing intensive courses with formal writing as well as presentation requirements. Ms. Walsh did an excellent job in both courses. She investigated various problems and potential solutions, as well as implementation and evaluation methods for solutions. She did an outstanding job of documenting her findings in two formats for the two different classes, the community master plan, and a tourism planning and development proposal. Besides Ms. Walsh's business skills, she has a solid understanding of the tourism system, and the issues involved in community and environmental planning. Kimberly is also very creative and it shows in her writing and in her public presentations. She is a pleasure to work with, is courteous, and very professional. With these skills, and especially her attention to quality work, Kimberly Walsh will be exceptional in the workforce.
