Bio
Dana Nelson
I have known Cory since he was a student at Seton Catholic School in the 7th grade. During his tenure at Seton, Cory developed a deep interest in all things technology which we encouraged and enriched. By the time he graduated the 8th grade, Cory was offered a technology based scholarship to St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron. Over the next few summers, Cory volunteered his time at Seton as an intern in the Technology Department. I made sure to introduce him to as many different facets of IT Infrastructure as possible as to give him a solid foundation to build on in the future. After learning the basics of network wiring, Microsoft client OS architecture, and asset management, I hired Cory as a part-time employee at Seton where he proved to be an invaluable asset to the department. Cory further learned about client-server architecture, centralized client management and OS deployment methods. During this time Cory also developed interests in areas of technology outside what Seton had the resources to mentor, including web design and programming. In these areas Cory sought out advice and instruction of his own initiative, started his own company, and began recruiting clients. Cory is fast to learn and gives wonderful attention to detail. He is a highly motivated and enterprising individual and works equally as well independently and in groups. He will do what it takes to get a project finished on-time without sacrificing quality of work. I know Cory will be a wonderful asset to any employer, and I look forward to working with him on future projects.

My direct duty was to assist the Director of IT in any way possible. Led to work with a server 2003 environment with a 112 client infrastructure, most of them running Windows XP Professional and then upgraded to Windows Vista Business, shortly after its release date. Managed network punch down work on building expansion, including patch panel work and cat6 keystone jack installment. Also Managing local client computers and deployment of windows to client computers thought out the building. My direct duty was to assist the Director of IT in any way possible.
