Huge kudos to Dr. Angela Jenkins Evans, who among many facets of her work as Director of Student Marketing and Campus Engagement @ Kennesaw State University, spearheads a High School Counselors Advisory Committee and an annual workshop for High School Counselors across Georgia. The workshop includes over one hundred counselors + distinguished speakers such as policy makers on the state Education Committee + the GA State School Superintendent + the Associate Vice Chancellor for the University System of Georgia + the STEM Coordinator for the Georgia Dept of Education, among many others. This is not just a two day meeting; this is a movement! This body of people through this forum have been instrumental in adding a 4th Science class to the Georgia curriculum and other positive changes for Georgia teachers and students. What a powerful and important program!
