  • Supported 1000s of customers across Bytemark’s in-house ‘BigV’ cloud server platform, as well as bare metal dedicated servers. • Following acquisition by iomart, supported migrations for new and existing customers with Sonassi, a Magento hosting specialist. • Designed and built dozens of managed solutions from start to finish, for both new customers and those migrating from legacy systems. These ranged from single server setups to more complex clusters, utilising DRBD and other tools to ensure high availability.• Took ownership of Bytemark’s ‘Symbiosis’ Linux operating system, upgrading all packages to ensure compatibility with Debian 9, and releasing a long-awaited update to the 100s of customers who rely on it. • Took part in a 24/7 on-call rota to provide consistent availability of both managed and internal infrastructure.• Mentored other members of the team to ensure understanding of more complex issues, and acted as an escalation point outside of working hours. • Developed and maintained internal documentation for all managed customers, detailing unique setups as well as day-to-day upkeep.• Assisted with data centre tasks as needed: disk swaps and rebuilds, hardware upgrades, and new server builds where required.
