I am currently an Assistant Teacher at East Cobb Tutoring Center. I have worked mostly with 6th-8th graders, however, I worked with students from all grade levels. My area of expertise is Math and Biology and my teaching style is very socratic and visual. During my sessions, diagrams & flashcards are a necessity. I have been teaching for 3 years now and I am passionate about helping other students get the necessary help they need to succeed. Tutored students of all ability levels to improve grasp of subject materials and improve performance. Retained a continuous rapor with students, parents, and other teachers. Show less

During my time teaching, I was able to implement new math skills and reinforce any pre-requisite knowledge using manipulatives, Desk tools, and a plethora of practice problems. I successfully improved over 15 students grades by the end of each year. I assisted the Center Director in setting up binders, grading assignments, as well as speaking to parents when needed. Many of my students built a rapor with me and I was able to increase their confidence in math, while also making it fun.
