Malique tutored students at East Cobb Tutoring Center in grades 6-12, for math and science. While Malique worked for ECTC, he was the most requested tutor. We found customers were raving about him on Facebook and the message spread. As an employee, Malique not only received feedback, he valued it and truly worked at perfecting his craft. While working with students, Malique developed his own system to check for student understanding. This system is now outlined in our tutoring job handbook. Malique also added to and supported our reputation as being the Best Tutoring Center in Georgia by leading with customer service. His communication with parents was much appreciated and complimented often.

Malique has a work ethic that is admirable to say the least. He has demonstrated consistently an ability to rise to the occasion. Group projects and tight deadlines are less stressful when he is on your team.

I am currently an Assistant Teacher at East Cobb Tutoring Center. I have worked mostly with 6th-8th graders, however, I worked with students from all grade levels. My area of expertise is Math and Biology and my teaching style is very socratic and visual. During my sessions, diagrams & flashcards are a necessity. I have been teaching for 3 years now and I am passionate about helping other students get the necessary help they need to succeed. Tutored students of all ability levels to improve grasp of subject materials and improve performance. Retained a continuous rapor with students, parents, and other teachers. Show less

During my time teaching, I was able to implement new math skills and reinforce any pre-requisite knowledge using manipulatives, Desk tools, and a plethora of practice problems. I successfully improved over 15 students grades by the end of each year. I assisted the Center Director in setting up binders, grading assignments, as well as speaking to parents when needed. Many of my students built a rapor with me and I was able to increase their confidence in math, while also making it fun.
