A wonderful colleague and team mate who supports and challenges others. I am grateful to have had the chance to work with Michael in a development team. He was a software developer on my team who stepped up to help provide technical direction on a complex and time-sensitive project. Michael was a huge advocate for cross-functionality on the team, and offered to support anyone who wanted to cross-skill. At the same time, he also took on other functions such as testing, which enabled faster improvements within the team. Michael was thoughtful when it came to feedback, and actively worked on areas that he could improve and seeked feedback from the team. Fun-loving and with a good sense of humour, Michael kept the energy of the team up by celebrating every type of success. A truly great team player, it has been an absolute pleasure working in a team with Michael. He is thoughtful in his approach to his work, very capable and has a growth mindset.
