My role as an IT Intern was mostly business focused and required a good understanding of core business and technical processes, as well as a deep interest in technological innovation. The position itself contained a few repeated activities such as: • Researching new resources and keeping contact with suppliers. • Assisting and leading various IT projects. • Working towards improving existing business processes or creating new ones if they do not already exist. • Helping with SharePoint administration. • Controlling equipment loans. • Keeping track of storage space on local drives and taking action when needed. In addition to the reoccurring activities above, the role was tailored to match my strengths/interests, maximising the positive impact I can have on the company as well as my skillset.
