I have been working with Paul for 3 years at different positions and for me it was probably the best collaboration I have ever had. Paul has a very casual management style which makes doing the job in a healthy atmosphere, but he also gives clear guidelines with a close follow up to make sure we keep going the right way. Although at the top level of the hierarchy, Paul always takes the time to communicate with the team, regardless of the position, to give or receive feedback or just for a casual chat. This is much appreciated and helps the team to always feel involved and motivated. On top of his great humanity, Paul has probably the sharpest sales and business management skills I have ever experienced and I am very thankful for having been able to learn from the best. Paul has one of the best strategic minds around, coupled with an ability to execute operationally and build trust, both internally and externally. When NexPress merged with Heidelberg digital, we went from 800 employees in 3 countries to 1,800 employees in 28 countries. We had 6 weeks to get sales, service and marketing people from all across Europe aligned. Paul's ability to not only speak 5 languages fluently, but to understand others perspectives and to gain alignment during a period of significant change was admirable. The company never could have accomplished this change without Paul. His talents for strategy, operations, and people leadership are excellent.
