I mentored Safiyah as part of the RIBA Student Mentoring programme in 2021. Safiyah is an easy-going, enthusiastic student with a clear interest in Architecture and Interior Design. I was impressed by Safiyah’s attitude and eagerness to learn more about the role and responsibilities of an Architect in professional practice. Safiyah was inquisitive throughout the programme and demonstrated strong time management skills to organise the sessions during a busy period of the academic year.
