I coordinated activities within the subsurface tema and between the subsurface and drilling teams (drilling and completions) to deliver the wells on-time and on-budget. Development Geologist Member of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the development of the Gumusut-Kakap Field in deepwater Sabah. Duties include well planning, well monitoring, and geological modelling updates and re-builds when necessary. Geological Studies Coordinator Responsible for coordinating field studies with contractors, reviewing their work, suggesting additional studies and transferring knowledge to team members, management and partners. Bid Round Evaluation – Northern Timan Pechora Basin Evaluated and re-interpreted well and petrophysical data on 15 fields in the northern portion of the Timan Pechora basin. Combined well-based structural interpretation of fields with 2D seismic interpretation. Worked closely with reservoir engineer to create models of the fields based on this work to determine the value of the fields. Chase and Capture Russia Provide key geological support and evaluation new opportunities in the Timan Pechora Basin, Pechora Shelf and Barents Sea Basin in Russia. The key jobs included evaluating and interpreting available data, providing alternative interpretations of the data, meeting with Russian counterparts and reporting result and making recommendations to ConocoPhillips management. Team Leader – J-Block UKTeam leader for the drilling of a well in Judy Field. The job entailed coordinating the subsurface activities during the planning and operations of this well. My key responsibilities were: 1). Work closely with the drilling construction team leader from the planning to the completion phase of the well to ensure effective communication between the reservoir and drilling groups.2). Coordinate subsurface input from the reservoir group and present that information to the drilling group.3). Organise and chair meetings between the drilling and reservoir groups and the reservoir group and partners.4). Liase between the reservoir team and management5). Serve as primary contact between the reservoir team and partners.Development Geologist I worked on the Pre-Cretaceous Judy Field in Quadrant 30, block 7A of the North Sea. My primary responsibility was to generate new prospects in this field. I was involved with 4 new development projects and 2 re-completion projects. Reservoir Modeller I created two full-field stochastic geocellular models using IRAP RMS and Petrel software. These models were upscaled into reservoir simulation models for history matching. Operations Geologist During the drilling of several wells in the North Sea, I was responsible for describing the geological/geophysical interpretation to the drilling engineers and drilling management. I ensured effective communication between the drilling and reservoir groups and explained the results of the well to management and partners. Show less
