  My third internship at SSL placed me in a dual-role position:My marketing tasks include the design, production and maintenance of a bi-weekly in-house newsletter for staff members and clients. I was the sole producer of this publication and it is my responsibility to maintain each version of the publication. I also update the marketing materials used by the Wealth Advisors and Financial Planners for their clients. Other marketing responsibilities include my contribution to product development - ideas for artwork for new products and the communication with our advertising agency to ensure marketing materials for new products are accurate and suitable to the company's standards.My research responsibilities include the compilation of e-newsletters that are sent to our subscribers twice a day. These e-newsletters summarize the day's financial and economic activities on the local and international markets. I also compiled a daily news summary page for one of Jamaica's two major newspapers, The Jamaica Observer. In addition, I am responsible for the coordination of SSL's weekly article feature in The Jamaica Observer written by one of our Wealth Advisors or Financial Planners. I ensure articles are produced to meet deadlines and have been meticulously proof-read and edited. When needed, I assist the Human Resource representative plan and execute several recruiting sessions. I ensure candidates are properly equipped for their testing and interviews and that each session runs according to a specified schedule.

Each of us had to present an operational idea to the Board of Directors. I was the winner in this competition.
