  I was primarily responsible for assisting the Firm’s Testing Coordinator perform blast, ballistics, and forced entry testing for Stone and its clients. This included: 1. Providing logistics support for blast, ballistics, and forced entry testing.2. Working with the testing team before, during and after tests, to assist with: • Test plan and report development. • Test set-up assembly (structural, mechanical, etc.) engineering supervision support at the test facilities. • Observation and documentation of test set-up and test results at the test facilities. • Photograph and video as required at the test facilities. 3. Other duties reasonably requested to support Stone, the Testing Coordinator, or the testing team.I also assisted the Stone Engineers in entry level structural/blast analysis and related computation work, and assisted in designing specimens and fixtures for related testing projects.

  Previously hired as an undergraduate lab assistant under the Civil and Construction Engineering (CCE) department, working under Dr. David Trejo. I assisted in the development of a performance-based mixture proportioning procedure for concrete incorporating off-spec fly ash. As a consequence to this opportunity, I became proficient in concrete mixing and conducting experiments investigating the structural strength and integrity of concrete elements. This includes but is not limited to: 1. ASTM C39 Concrete Cylinders Compression Testing 2. Concrete Slump Testing 3. ASTM C231 Standard Test Method for Air Content of Freshly Mixed Concrete by the Pressure Method 4. RCON Concrete Bulk Resistivity Test I also assisted in a separate project investigating the corrosion characteristics and effects on reinforced concrete due to chloride penetration, and performance comparisons between Portland-Limestone Cement and Ordinary Portland Cement.

  Before enrolling in Oregon State University, I worked as a testing technician for Hubro SDN. BHD., a civil company based in Kuching, Eastern Malaysia. My responsibilities involve conducting field tests on pile foundations and are listed below, 1. Performed pile testing works including PDA (High Strain Dynamic Pile Testing), PIT (Pile Integrity Test), and CSL (Cross hole Sonic Logging). 2. Set up reaction system to commence Maintain Load Test on test pile. 3. Core samples, prepared specimens, and performed compressions tests on specimens. 4. Analyzed Cross-Hole Sonic Logging data, and compiled analysis report. 5. Assisted engineers in surveying using automatic level and total station.
