      My duties were to help in any way I could. I started just picking grapes, but soon gained my boss's trust and was allowed to help with the crushing/destemming and pressing the grapes into wine. Once spring came, I learned how to drive the 360 lawn mower with great precision through the rows of vines. I was also the only employee permitted to drive the tractor since I have experience from my time snow plowing. By the end, I was involved with every step of production, from planting a whole new vineyard, to labelling the bottles ready for sale. Show less
