In addition to the continued development of the aforementioned print-on-demand platform I began providing technical advice and assistance on a number of other projects. The CEO seemed happy with my input and wished to see me as the CTO of the company.

Developed a print-on-demand platform. This was my return to development after a 10-month bicycle trip, and it went quite alright.Tech used: MEAN stack deployed on Azure (Docker+Kubernetes, Pipelines for DevOps, log collection, etc.), some Python and Blender 3D, etc.

I started out as a regular election watchdog and then quickly joined the coordination bureau. In 2020 I agreed to reimplement (I did not design it) the organisation website. If you visit it today, it seems smaller than it actually is because in the election aftermath I closed down and hid certain functionality. I actually implemented access-controlled user dashboards, which were used to access and submit data during the election. Tech used: React+Gatsby, Firebase. The Baltic Client Innovation Centre (or IBM Lithuania, if you prefer) provides outsourcing services to a number of clients worldwide. As a "resource" I had to work for different companies on quite different projects. This often meant that I would receive a new set of tools to work with and would be deployed to a new work environment. Thus I was required to be adept at learning new technologies, and be a good team player in order to be able to seamlessly integrate into the new team/project and begin delivering value. Being able to do all that enabled me to contribute to our main goal, which is to establish long-lasting relationships with our customers by supplying high quality service on demand. Companies I worked for: National Express, Barclays, ISS (International Service System, a Danish facility services company; please, I'd love to have worked for the Space Station!). Tech I had to work with: Java+Spring, Jenkins, gradle, all sorts of JS (React, Backbone, Polymer, custom bank frameworks, templates), all sorts of version control (Git, Mercurial, ClearCase), IBM Tririga, etc. etc. Show less
