I was seconded to initially help the subsea system superintendents with a 5 yearly maintenance program on SIL2Duties included:- Supplier selection for servicing & maintenance on various components on the system.- Work with suppliers ensuring Helix QA requirements for 5 yearly maintenance is followed- Create and update project plan for the overall maintenance program- Review MRB's supplied from suppliers- Update documentation and drawings to suit- Working with the offshore SIL team for the disassembly, testing and assembly of SIL2Upon completion of this program I moved onto the retrofit of a new intervention BOP into SIL1BDuties included:- Checking frame and advising of modification required of frame and pipework- Working with suppliers to do these modificationsOn completion of this I worked on the changeout of BOP blocks in SIL2Duties for this involved:- Checking and advising of modifications for the framework, annulus pipework and hydraulic pipework required to fit the new BOP block5 yearly maintenance on SIL1ADuties included:- Supplier selection for servicing & maintenance on various components on the system.- Work with suppliers ensuring Helix QA requirements for 5 yearly maintenance is followed- Create and update project plan for the overall maintenance program- Review MRB's supplied from suppliers- Update documentation and drawings to suit- Working with the offshore SIL team for the disassembly, testing and assembly of SIL1A Show less

I was promoted to be the Project Lead of a Multi Million pound Project Geoprober had with major BOP manufacturer in Houston, USA.My duties included:- Having budget control of the project- Project planning using MS project, identifying milestones agreed with team and client- Being the interface between Geoprober and the client, this involved chairing weekly meetings with the clients team & regular interfacing with client project lead.- Being in charge of a team of electrical & hydraulic engineers ensuring timescales were met.- Involved in procurement assisting team with identifying suppliers of various components.- Regular meetings with management team presenting progress, budgets & concerns- Presenting progress and technical discoveries at client facility in front of various technical peopleTowards end of this project I had to take on another Multi Million pound project with major oil and gas company in Rio, Brazil. This had the same duties as the previous project however half the team was based in Aberdeen and half were based at the client office in Rio.This project was terminated prematurely due to the client being merged with another oil and gas company and funding being stopped.
