      Since 2010 I have been attached as a freelance writer to the Features Desk of Sunday Observer which is Sri Lanka's oldest weekly English newspaper. My work for the Sunday Observer cover mainly arts and letters. Since 2012 I took an active role in doing theatre reviews for the paper. At present I have written over 120 theatre reviews this collection of theatre reviews mainly consists of reviews published in the Sunday Observer as well as a few written for The Nation newspaper, for which I also worked as a freelancer for a while.

      Hosted Sri Lanka's oldest running Englsh meduim cultural TV show for 3 1/2 years. "Bonsoir" is a "TV Magazine" type show which has been on air in Sri Lanka for the past 25 years. It is a programme funded by the French Embassy in Colombo, under the mission's cultural section.Exposed me to a wide variety of expriences in Media which provided me a wealth of knoweldge on various fields of activities.I co-produced two programmes and worked as 'script writer' on a number of episodes. Notable Focus areas/themes of the show included: Literature, Art,Cinema Education,Photography,Drama,Sports,Architecture, Environemnt,Social issues,Adventure sports,Food,Leisure,Agriculture,Industries,Modern Technology, Fashion,Wildlife,Automobiles,Transport systems,Cultural festivals.
