I worked with Geoffrey on a project in college, and he is a hard worker, and always takes the initiative to get the work done.

Geoffrey is a "Go to" guy for complex network and application interfacing. A number of significant "Wins" in my sales region are directly attributable to Geoff's expertise and thoroughness. I would match his knowledge of DICOM, HL7 and data migration against anyone in the industry

President

Jan 2020 - Present
Volunteer president of my local flying club (501.c.7 non-profit). I oversee all club operations, including leading a board of seven fellow members, managing a staff of five and about a dozen flight instructors. I set the agenda for and chair monthly membership meetings. I led the club during the ongoing COVID pandemic, which was an unexpected challenge. I've interacted with the FAA and NTSB representing the club. I've implemented a policy of incremental upgrades to our fleet of 15 aircraft. During my time as president, the club membership levels have grown to well over 500, we have consistently set monthly records for the number of flight hours, and the club's financial position is rock solid. Senior Pre-Sales Consultant, International Liaison
-
Jul 2017 - Mar 2021
Point person for the entire international sales team to access US resources. When someone on the international sales team needs help with a deal they're working on they come to me. Based on the nature of the request and the size of the deal I might assist them by providing training to the local resources, helping them directly myself, or coordinating US resources to provide assistance. Along with assisting in deals, an important part of my task is making sure the international team is following he latest sales processes and guiding them through these processes. As you might imagine, this sometimes requires some odd hours, so I've become very good at balancing work and life. Show less

Team Lead, Pre-Sales Consulting
-
Aug 2012 - Jul 2017
I manage a team of four other Pre-Sales Consultants with a diverse set of responsibilities. Some help with the sales process (below) while others serve the teams other purpose: building and managing the demo systems for the entire Pre-Sales team, from the physical hardware up to the applications themselves. During the sales process I am primarily responsible for hardware/platform component of sales opportunities. Mostly it involves specifying and quoting correct hardware for a given software solution, quoting hardware with suppliers, and documenting that hardware along with the rest of the sales proposal. Also responsible for forecasting hardware opportunity to sales leadership and working across the business on various hardware-related endeavors like testing, deployment and training.Merge was acquired by IBM in 2015. PACS Administrator
-
Oct 1998 - Apr 2006
I started at Booth part-time while I was in college. At the time they had almost no IT aside from a couple printers linked to an IBM AIX system. I eventually built most of their initial IT infrastructure, including a routed network across multiple facilities, Active Directory, file servers, backup, and other specialty systems. Radiology went through a digital transformation in the 2000's, going from film to PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System). Booth installed a Siemens PACS, then replaced it about a year later. In that time I was responsible for both PACS' and the migration from the old system to the new. I trained all 15 or so radiologists on the systems, and acted as their day-to-day support. Several years after I left Booth was acquired by South Jersey Radiology. Show less
