  Generally, I practice in the areas of Business & Corporate, Cyber-security & Data Privacy, Risk Management & Insurance Coverage Interpretation and Litigation, Energy, and International Business. I also have experience handling Labor & Employment matters. Originally from the Republic of Panama, I am fluent in Spanish and regularly assist clients with international commercial transactions in my native language. I also assist multinationals with risk management considerations abroad. My insurance practice focuses on the representation of corporate policyholders in all manner of liability insurance policies as well as specialized insurance coverages including A/E, control of well, and cyber and data breach policies. I also regularly counsel my clients on their varying notification and regulatory obligations triggered by data breaches, and perform in-house cyber risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, establish protocols that eliminate/minimize those risks, draft response plans, and evaluate in-place risk management programs to ensure proper risk transfer. Working side-by-side with in-house legal and HR I also help implement/revamp social media policies, personal device protocols, and data retention plans. I also advise C-suite executives on cyber due diligence assessments for prospective business partners and M&A targets. My mediation practice focuses on the resolution of business disputes, international commercial disputes, and complex insurance coverage questions. Show less
