      VISION 2020: The Right to Sight – INDIA is a registered not-for-profit forum and is a key driver of the global initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) for reducing avoidable visual impairment by year 2020.It is a collaborative effort of INGOs, NGOs, eye care organisations in India and the Government to coordinate and advocate for improved eye care programs; to gain and share knowledge and together develop solutions to achieve quality, comprehensive and equitable eye care.       UNLEASH is a global non-profit initiative addressing the United Nation’sSustainable Development Goals by bringing together 1,000 young global talents toinnovate and collaborate on solutions to some of the world’s most pressingchallenges. UNLEASH will take place each year leading up to 2030 and is developedand supported by a global consortium of actors, including UNDP, Deloitte, Dalberg,Confederation of Danish Industry, Carlsberg Foundation, and Danish Folk HighSchools.I was fortunate to be selected(Under the Education Track) to attend the first UNLEASH event through a highly competitive global search process. During the nine-days program,participants went through an immersive innovation challenge facilitated by contentand business experts. In groups, the participants worked on problem framingsaround the Sustainable Development Goals, ideated solutions to these problems,and advanced their ideas through business planning, prototyping and investmentpitching. At the end of the program, representatives from each group pitched theideas in front of their peers and an ecosystem of investors and companies.Our team 'The Final Four' worked on developing a solution for 'Social Skills Assessment' for the 21st Century.
