I first met Lindsey in 1997 when she enrolled in my Freshman Composition class. Having graduated from high school at age 16, she was eager to begin her college experience. Over the years, I have had a handful of bright young teens enroll in my classes, and while many are pushed to succeed, often prematurely, by their families, it was clear that Lindsey was her own person. Even at 16, she arrived in class ready, even eager, to learn, and participated actively in the life of our class. I saw right away that she had an inquiring mind and a serious determination to perform on par with the best of our class, many of whom were several times her age. Not only did she attend faithfully, make all deadlines, and submit exemplary work, she was an active participant in all class and group activities, one of those rare students whose enthusiastic presence makes the entire class a better experience for all involved. Soon thereafter, Lindsey enrolled in a survey class for western poetry, fiction, and plays, and again she distinguished herself through her good work. As for my personal knowledge of Lindsey, her husband, Jacob Naylor, a deputy sheriff for eight years now, was among my son’s closest friends while growing up. Through knowing Jacob, I have watched Lindsey meet many new opportunities with her customary enthusiasm. Today a mother of four bright and beautiful children, one might think she’d be content to raise her children and maintain her household, all of which she does marvelously well, but as is typical of Lindsey, she has accomplished so much more. After graduating from Copper Mountain College in 1998, she started a Bachelor’s Degree, began having children, opened her own daycare center, which she operated successfully for several years, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kaplan with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and, until the economic collapse of 2008, owned and operated a gift shop in Yucca Valley, California. Having accomplished more in her twenties than many people do in a lifetime, it is clear that Lindsey is an extraordinary individual with a bright future. Clearly, this personable, smart young woman is on an upward trajectory and looking for a company that is a good match for her unique blend of talents, ambition, and personal loyalty. One has only to review her early academic accomplishments, to look at her loving relationship with her children and husband, and to see her personal journey of discovery with its balance of school, family, and business to know that she is a rare find for any company fortunate enough to employ her considerable talents and energy. For these reasons I offer my enthusiastic recommendation for Lindsey Naylor. Sincerely, Greg Gilbert Trustee, Copper Mountain College

Lindsey is the type of student that makes everyone in the class grow. Her unique background and perspective on sustainability will challenge you to think about the issues from a position outside of your own. I've enjoyed studying with Lindsey and the challenges that she's presented me with. I look forward to staying in touch with her for years to come. Jim Costello

I generated, and sometimes personally delivered property profiles with sales comparisons for real estate to 300+ Realtors, lenders, and other clients. In addition, I ordered and reviewed Preliminary Title Reports, determined exceptions to be cleared prior to closing escrow, and determined documentation necessary to address said exceptions. Many times, I notarized loan document signatures at lending offices. Additionally, I facilitated training on title-related software programs. On many occasions, I scheduled and attended important public relations for existing and prospective clients. By offering excellent customer service, I helped Fidelity to secure number one market share in my region! Show less

I started working as a cashier and quickly secured a position behind the Customer Service desk. At the Customer Service desk, I answered and directed calls on the store's six-line telephone system and did various other tasks related to helping customers and management. Soon, I began helping with specialized accounting by preparing and processing daily deposits for all 21 registers. This included maintaining a log of cashier errors, auditing tills and making corrections, and balancing the safe. Eventually, I also worked the stores special order log (Due file and Reversal Reports $500K-$800K) making sure they were compliant with store policy and customer satisfaction was being met. Show less
