Zoey Schlemper
Alberto has a passion for knowledge that is infectious. He gets excited about whatever he is working on, and I found him to be an excellent peer. He pushed me to try my hardest by just being himself, and I learned a lot from working on projects with him. Level - headed and Responsible, Alberto was one of the most rock solid teammates I have had in my entire academic career.

It is my pleasure to recommend Alberto Panico as a Technical Artist. As an Adjunct Professor at DigiPen, I taught Alberto in both my Advanced Rigging class, and later as an Independent Study student. Alberto excelled at DigiPen, often being sought out by other students to get his feedback and input on projects they were working on. Alberto is constantly coming up with new solutions to technically challenging problems. He would often present multiple solutions to issues before dialing in on the final solution that was deemed the best for the situation. In the independent study, he developed an IK solution to allow for a character to navigate on uneven terrain in Unreal. He then rebuilt the system in Unity as well, just to see how difficult it would be. Alberto has a genuine exuberance for new technical challenges. He has a dep knowledge of many 3d packages and real time engines. Given his extensive computer science background as well as his work experience, I feel he would make an excellent addition to any creative team.
