  I've done many jobs for various boutique video production houses in Denver, I've led contracts through completion, and I have written and produced original content in the form of short films. In the past year, I helped light and capture numerous promotional videos for well known franchise restaurants, I shot and edited around 30 weddings, filmed a hand full of live performances for bands, operated camera and gaffed for 10 web series episodes (narrative and journalistic), produced 2 motion graphics animations for a promotional series, and a few for political commercials, shot and edited a few local tv spots, was DIT for a TV pilot, additional camera on a feature, taught 6 weeks of film and video workshops to teenagers, was DP for a few short films, and produced, directed and edited 5 of my own short films, all of which I helped write, and 1 of which is in the final stages of post currently. True freelance, though I'm focusing my efforts more and more on Directing and Cinematography for narrative cinema, having just updated my lens package, and having all these new short films to cut a directors reel with. My passion is for story, which is part of why I find myself on such an array of projects. Show less

Often worked as second shooter, but also was lead on a number of weddings. Also did the post-production, syncing up to 4 cameras and audio, doing multi-cam edits for an average of 1 hours worth of events, as well as pulling selects from footage from each wedding and cutting highlight videos to music for promotion of the videography business.   Instructor for summer Film Workshops held in the summers for kids and teenagers, ages 8-19. As a lead instructor, I've developed lectures and assignments, and hands-on activities. I've taught students the fundamentals of filmmaking and cinematography, as well as coached them in good screenwriting, both formatting and story. I also taught many of the lessons that were equipment based, giving students a hands-on understanding of Camera function and technique, Professional editing software (FCP 7, Premiere, and After Effects). Because of my technical skills, I was often the go-to for troubleshooting the students issues in post so they could get back on track and focus more on cutting the story. I loved working with kids, and find that fresh eyes in film also serves to inspire and educate myself as a filmmaker and storyteller. Show less
