Martin played an important and vital role in setting up Wandsworth Radio. He was a dedicated and enthusiastic News and Sport editor leading a large team of volunteers many with little or no radio or journalism experience. His calm and special way of communicating encouraged others to learn and achieve some great on air content. As well as managing and training volunteers to write and read news bulletins Martin also succeeded in building a team of news reporters training them to use smart phones for recording interviews, how to edit audio and how to use social media in an engaging way. Martin presented and produced a weekly sports show working hard to build relationships with local sports teams and was passionate about featuring lesser known sports to keep the show different and interesting. On air Martin has a warm, competent, authoritative style and this is the reason I chose him to present the launch programme for the station. He puts the listener at ease, he knows what he's talking about, he's safe and sound and he's also a really lovely guy who cares about what we do, cares about professionalism and cares for the people around him. He has a great skill for bringing people together and this was highlighted when he arranged many social events for the team that we all enjoyed. Martin was a major part of the success of Wandsworth Radio and I thoroughly recommend him as he will be a real asset to any organisation.

Martin was an trusted member of my digital team at Nectar for more than three years. During that time he managed and delivered a phenomenal amount of web and social media projects, large and small. In particular Martin’s talent for social media marketing and communications helped the organisation make a real step change in our capabilities.
