Deputy Brigade Engineer for the 173rd Airborne Brigade. The 173rd is the only Airborne Brigade (4000 person organization) forward-deployed in Europe.I was the youngest officer in our Brigade to lead an international airborne operation. The operation was from Italy to Hungary at a cost of $681,000. This specialty operation, called Bátor Harcos, was a partner-ship between the US and Hungary and was the first of its kind. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is split across three installations in both Italy and Germany and as the Deputy Engineer I completed international construction projects costing $3,130,000. Lead engineer planner for international military training events involving 4000+ soldiers in Italy, Germany, Hungary, France, Austria, and Poland. When I was a 1st Lieutenant I served as the Head Brigade Engineer, which is a position typically held by a Major, for four months and was responsible for decision making and communication of all engineering planning and execution for a 4000 person organization, split across two countries.The US Army awarded me with two Army Achievement Medals and one Army Commendation Medal for excellence and service. Conducted investigations for the Uniform Code of Military Justice violations as the Investigating Officer. Designed a program to conduct quarterly training and internal compliance inspections and facilitated Italian Jurisdiction Compliance Inspections. Show less
