- Demonstrated strong mechanical design aptitude by designing a robotic arm on SOLIDWORKS for use as a proof of concept model for the stretchable stain sensor operation. - Co-wrote academic research papers on the fabrication of strain sensors and analyzing previous publications when carrying out literature review. (One has been accepted and published in the journal “Sensors and Actuators”) - 3D-printed the designed robotic arm, and assisted in wiring and assembly of the final model. - Participated in the fabrication and strain testing of the stretchable strain sensors to determine the performance over simulated life cycles. As part of the tests, I was involved in writing Arduino code for the test bed, as well as using Microsoft Excel to analyze the data and produce data summaries. - Helped in fabrication of Gold-Platinum coated micro electric circuit boards in a clean room.
