As a small government contractor, our programs are often fast-paced, with vague requirements, and tight timelines. I support many different aspects of the business: * I lead a team of engineers and scientists, making sure they have the skills and resources they need to do a great job. I help them develop career plans, and provide feedback for personal and professional growth. * I drive and manage software programs by working with the customer (Gov) and partners (prime and/or subcontractors) to transform requirements into development plans. * I am responsible for all hiring efforts in house. I revamped the company's talent acquisition pipeline to find great candidates: reduce "false positives", make hiring decisions more efficiently, resulting in quicker hires with much lower turn over rates. * I am also overseeing everything HR related. From on-boarding to career coaching to talent retention, I am always looking at ways to improve our systems, either be the process we follow, the tools we use, or the outside resources we use. All in all, I support the company and the executives in building and growing the business as quickly as we can.
