This role involved all the aspects of being an Activity Instructor, with the added responsibilities of being a Duty Manager and a member of the management team overseeing up to 50 staff. As part of the Senior Instructor role, I was fully first aid trained, high ropes rescue trained, and oversaw the training and assessment of new and existing staff. I was responsible for delivering safety briefings to customers and confirming their learning and understanding before they embarked on their adventures. During this time, I also had an active role in managing bookings and payments and end-of-day duties.
