In my 17 year tenure at Ascedia I’ve been involved in 100+ projects for dozens of clients. I’ve had numerous roles on these projects ranging from requirements gathering and SOW writing to back-end development and project management. I'm a proven leader who has always maintained a high level of professionalism and delivered quality results. Technology & Sales • Ensure that the development team is using appropriate and up-to-date technologies before embarking on each new project. • Research new technologies and engage the development team in R&D for further investigation to help make decisions about technologies to use. • Participate in technical sales for potential new client relationships. • Heavily involved in large project requirements gathering with the goal of making technology recommendations, writing SOWs and estimating. • Make decisions on technologies to use for projects. • Act as Hosting Manager to create secure, scalable, up-to-date environments for hundreds of live, staging and development websites. • Maintain programming proficiency by taking on small projects and maintenance requests across a variety of technologies. • Involved in agile development process, story writing and scrums. • Involved in dozens of projects for clients such as Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, Catholic Financial Life, Lake Express Ferry, Carroll University, and Compass Tours. Human Resources & Management • Make all hiring decisions for the back-end development team. • Oversaw growth of team from 10 developers to 22 over 3 years. • Write and conduct performance evaluations for entire team. • Mentor staff to assist them in advancing their careers and achieving yearly goals defined together.

In this role, it's important to be knowledgeable of the logistics surrounding each event which will vary depending on the location and distance of the race.
