Maziar is a complete joy to work with. He brings an enormous heart to all that he does. He is thoughtful, intelligent, critical, detailed and patient. We are sad to see him leave urban ink and we wish him the best in all his endeavours. Anyone who hires Maz will be extremely lucky to have him.

Shahrgon Magazine

Maziar developed and maintained his own weekly arts and culture column in the English section of my newspaper. His popular articles and well-researched interviews were very insightful and helped to diversify our readership. Due of his professionalism, work ethic and talents in digital engagement strategy and community outreach, I highly recommend Maziar without reservation.

Holding Space Films is a boutique production company based in Toronto, founded by director, editor and cinematographer, Patricia Marcoccia in 2017. With a focus on documentary films, we grapple with difficult, socially relevant topics that challenge stale thinking and promote meaningful conversations through timeless human stories. The company's name derives from the concept of "holding space," which is central to its filmmaking process. To hold space for someone is to metaphorically walk with them amidst their experience using genuine presence and deep listening to enable authenticity to emerge. This provides building blocks for the most powerful and honest documentary films. Its first film, SHUT HIM DOWN: The Rise of Jordan Peterson (44 mins), was released on Canadian television in late 2018, topping the CBC Docs POV charts and receiving two Golden Sheaf Award nominations.Building on this success, Holding Space Films strives to continue producing thoughtful and thought-provoking content that transcends ideological agendas through honest human stories.

Life, business and work are being transformed everyday. Changes are faster, short lived and fluid. We feel the need for constant learning and knowledge recycling, just to be productive. Acquiring new skills and competences need to be as dynamic, easy to do and effective as the transformation itself.Collective Brains offers you a vast network of thought leaders who truly understand the transformation and are experts on their own fields. We want to create a space where you can easily engage with them as mentors, advisers to your business or simply access their latest articles and books or even request a keynote presentation.

With the generous support of the RBC Foundation, Canadian Stage offers development support, mentorship, networking opportunities, and professional resources to our city's emerging arts creators. Canadian Stage supports artists, collectives, and companies who are creating contemporary performance works in theatre, dance, and hybrid forms. The RBC Emerging Artist Program encourages emerging artists to deeply engage with their own creative processes in a supportive and rigorous environment. The focus for the 20.21 program is on collaborative creation processes. In this time of social distancing, how can artists foster healthy creative collaborations and challenge themselves to create dynamic and rigorous artistic projects? This year’s program allows participants to explore the dynamics, issues, and opportunities that emerge within creative processes that involve collective collaboration. Canadian Stage is thrilled to welcome the artists from Live Cinema Collective as residents this year. They have described their research project as follows: “In our present day, we have become alarmingly dependent on ubiquitous corporate communication technologies to live, work and connect with our friends and families. Because of this techno-cultural shift, Live Cinema Collective is interested to decolonize practices that monitor our behaviours without consent by conducting experimental research with live streaming softwares, remote multi-cam setups and real-time audience interaction with the end goal of producing a live performance – essentially, a film that is performed and viewed simultaneously.”
