Aaron Hofsass
Brandon is a talented lighting artist who consistently brings a great attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and collaborate to whatever project or task he's on. I have had the pleasure of mentoring and working alongside Brandon on both Halo Infinite's campaign as well as front end menu scenes for seasonal updates to the game. I have watched him grow, both artistically and professionally during his time at 343 Industries and he has always been a solid and dependable member of our team throughout his 2 years with us, regardless of the various challenges we've faced. I have always been impressed with the humility and diligence with which Brandon approaches his work. He quickly and consistently responds to feedback and critiques, always seeks clarifying information, and can work effectively with very little direction or supervision. I am confident that Bradon will prove to be a positive addition to any team he joins, bringing his skill and drive to a project while constantly pushing his own boundaries as an artist.

Brandon's very first games job was with us at 343; He came in during production of our campaign game for Halo Infinite. I would imagine that coming in to such a bustling production environment might be quite daunting for any new industry professional, seeing the scale of things going on and the experience levels of everyone around them. But Brandon never showed any hesitation or fear. Quite the opposite. He soaked up everything that was going on like a sponge and was clearly focused on learning as much as he could, as quickly as he could, and putting himself to good use. He ended up being a huge help for us finalizing the vast, cube map filled islands and open spaces of campaign. Once we shipped that, Brandon moved over to working in the armor and asset customization menu spaces. The work needed there was highly technical and extremely focused, and also required some generalist skills - not just regular lighting. Once again, his help proved invaluable. He took everything that was thrown at him in his stride, always keeping up a great attitude and a wonderful work ethic. With his ever-present thirst for learning to improve himself and his skills, Brandon is becoming a very talented lighting artist. It's been a pleasure being able to work with him and I'm sure he has a blazingly bright future ahead. All the best Brandon!
