      Rendering I: Re-designed this course to reflect the modern demands of illustration. Rendering I focuses on drawing and interpreting tone, light, and shadow effectively while learning to render a wide range of subjects using traditional media. This course incorporates Adobe Photoshop as a support tool for scanning and color correction..Illustration Fundamentals: I created a new course text including 9 assignments on perspective followed by 4 assignments on basic illustration media/techniques. Course assignments can be viewed at http://illustrationfundamentals.blogspot.com/Digital Illustration I: This course introduces Adobe Illustrator CS5 and focuses on pen path basics, importing images, creating and managing type and basic illustration using blends, gradients, and the gradient mesh tool.Concept Illustration: I designed Concept Illustration as a new required course within the MACA program. A blend of digital and traditional illustration, this Concept Illustration focuses on interpreting client directions and concepts and creating illustrations that effectively solve visualization challenges posed to students.
