      With a history dating back over 175 years and operations spanning 33 countries in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and America, my career at the ANZ consistently provided stimulation and challenge. Much of my role as a HR Business Partner had a strong strategic generalist focus. In this capacity I supported the retail network for NSW. The scope was 1500 people, 150 Managers, 15 Senior Managers and 2 Regional Executives. Partnering at the senior level, I also supported the senior management to realise their strategy for the business at a state level through leading operational support. I also enjoyed senior leadership roles on human resource management and business transformation projects in Sydney, Melbourne and in New Zealand: Key HR Projects: Worked closely with the MD of Retail banking to strategically respond to union action including implementing on the plan. Built and delivered education programs on Managing Absenteeism and Effective Recruitment practices as well as engagement Survey results. Acted as Project Lead when ANZ acquired a large bank in New Zealand, replicating the Australian model of shared services in the New Zealand. Functions included recruitment, payroll and workplace health and safety. I then enjoyed a one year secondment delivering and embedding a culture of best practice in delivery human resources services in NZ. Was a project lead for insourcing, onboarding and integrating a recruitment provider into ANZ’s operations, a significant project for the ANZ at that time.
