Janet was my coach as we debriefed a strengths assessment called Realise2. Janet seemed well prepared and the debrief was well worthwhile. I appreciate Janet's insights. In particular Janet asked me about teaming up a realised or recognised strength to boost the use of an unrealised strength. Janet’s gentle questioning shared this in a way which immediately made sense. I could see how to use the facility I had with one strength to overcome mental blocks I had about using another strength. It was a revelation. Since then I have been able to use this approach and found myself being less self-conscious. Janet also mentioned that some strengths recorded in the learned behaviours are there primarily as a result of being used so much, possibly being over used. It may be that a strength in this case is originally a realised strength and when its use is moderated, it can again serve in that way. Janet knew her subject well and conveyed it in an easy and effective manner. With pleasure, I recommend Janet as a skilful and positive coach.
