      — Participated in a two week seminar led by professors, lawyers, and researchers in Berlin to develop skills in human rights reporting, communications, research, strategy and innovation. — Partnered with the Sexual Assault Crisis Center for an eight week fellowship to draft a policy brief with recommendations for combatting sexual harassment in Armenia, the first comprehensive report on the issue in the country. Conducted evidence-based qualitative research through expert interviews, legal analysis, and synthesizing reports of international organizations such as the OECD, the World Bank and the UN’s UPR.       At EmancipAction, an NGO dedicated to improving mental health resources for girls rescued from sex trafficking in South Asia, I worked directly in government and private rescue homes in Mumbai and Kolkata. Organized a workshop for caregivers at a government home in Mumbai with Dr. Verdeli, author of the WHO manual for Interpersonal Psychotherapy for lay counselors. With instructors from Battery Dance Company NYC and the generous support of the US Consulate, organized a therapeutic workshop in movement and dance for the girls in the home. Partnering with Sangaath, a Goa-based NGO providing mental health resources for school-going children, on adapting, evaluating, and expanding their best practices specifically for the girls at rescue homes. Led the design and implementation of EmancipAction’s tech project, the CareGiver App, which monitors and evaluates in psychological interventions. Show less
