Andy is a great guy to have around and a fantastic strategic researcher. From brand positioning to online qualitative panel, he always finds a way to deliver the most strategic recommendations.

Andy is a rare commodity in this world, he's a combination of an ideas man & a do-er. A true asset to any team. Throughout our work at iThnk.com Andy has had to endure intensely busy weeks, tight deadlines and at times little reward. He has also had to deal with my moments of high stress - all of this he has handled with great charm, wit and true professionalism. On a personal note, having known Andy prior to our joint entrepreneurial venture I had no qualms about committing to be in business with him for the long haul. He's a man of outstanding moral fibre who would stand by his friends and colleagues come hell or high water. There's no one I'd prefer to be in business with. I'm proud to call Andy both my business partner and a dear friend.

Part of GfK Australia in a qualitative insights role. My remit at GfK was to help develop the most progressive qualitative offer in the region whilst working in consultation with clients to grow their businesses. As such, a key part of the role was to seek out new methodologies and tools that enabled a richer understanding of consumer behaviour to ultimately inform strategic decisions. Formerly I was part of the global brand development and marketing insight consultancy, Added Value. During my time at AV I worked alongside some brilliant strategic thinkers on many great projects in the FMCG, technology and alcohol categories. It was there I honed my qualitative skillset, and in particular, developed a strong understanding of digital qual. I had the opportunity to work with great clients representing some of Australia and New Zealand's biggest brands, helping them in the areas of brand positioning, market segmentation and innovation. As co-founder of social media consultancy, iThnk, I was responsible for devising, implementing and evaluating online marketing strategies for our clients. iThnk was a huge learning curve that gave me a greater appreciation for the importance of brand identity in the digital space. Having the opportunity to (at the time) shape the way some great organisations communicate via digital and social channels was a real highlight of the iThnk venture. Working at the the University of Otago student gym, Unipol, was a great part-time job to have whilst studying. I picked up many valuable skills and met some great people in the process.
