  Just finalizing my three book series about 3 children whose parents had been arrested by the Nazis and thrown into a concentration camp. Alfred, 15, and Piotr, 16, are best friends and are eventually rounded up by the Nazis and thrown into the Warsaw Ghetto. There, they meet Jolanta, a precocious and outspoken 14 year old. The three survive 5 years of the war, witness the mass genocide of the Jews and help to spearhead the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The three escape, eventually join the resistance in Poland and thwart Hitler’s V1 and V2 Rocket plans. Alfred and Jolanta, fall in love amidst the bombings, massacres, and chaos, and get married in 1946 when the war is over. I was born one year later. My parents. Pretty Intense. Show less
