Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of diverse problems in order to identify trends and areas of improvement to the component level of instrumentation and to drive Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) efforts to improve equipment reliability and uptime. Provide first tier support via pager system for instruments not operating to specifications to resolve all hardware and software errors in a timely manner and to quality standards independently utilizing SOPs and engineering (optical, mechanical, electrical, or fluidics) fundamentals. Partner with different departments to develop of improve qualification, calibration, preventative maintenance (PM) for instruments as needed to comply with operational needs. Collaborated with multiple project teams to train on novel processes and stay up-to-date on rapidly optimized protocols. Established internal high-throughput enzyme screening with the Agilent Bravo liquid handling robot. The process resulted in a 3-fold increase throughput and reduced well-to-well variability through a plate-based SPRI clean up. Generated and visualized data using JMP and Loupe to present to team and cross-functional teams. Communicated cross-functionally across multiple projects and teams to discuss shifting priorities.
