      In his current role at the Greenville Chamber, Hank provides support to the region’s major employers and works to prompt community change through community and economic development research. Hank oversees the Chamber’s Manufacturers Roundtable and other efforts to engage existing industry. He was a founding member of Greenville Works, an innovative collaborative ensuring a viable talent pipeline for manufacturers and major employers in the region. He is a member of the Greenville County Workforce Investment Board and a member of the Financial Stability Council of the United Way of Greenville County. He also staffs the Greenville Chamber’s Education and Workforce Committee, leading efforts to bring business support to Early Childhood, K12 and Higher Education initiatives. Chamber members provide business acumen to the area’s early childhood providers. The Chamber supports the Principal for a Day and Dream Connectors initiatives, increasing awareness of career opportunities for middle school students. The Chamber also supports the growth of internships and other business linkages with higher education. Hank oversees the Regional Economic Scorecard, an initiative to focus community attention on drivers of per capita income. The Scorecard promotes strategies to develop Human Capital, Innovation, Entrepreneurism, and Cluster/Industry Growth. Finally, Hank is responsible for the Chamber’s talent attraction efforts. From providing personalized assistance with VIP recruiting trips to coordinating large, multi-day events for scores of recruits, the Chamber has been instrumental in assisting companies attract the talent critical to their success. Hank Hyatt is a graduate of Washington and Lee University (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and pursued graduate studies in philosophy as a Regents Fellow at the University of California – Santa Barbara.
