I have had the privilege of working with and directly reporting to Jennifer for many years. She has always been highly dedicated to her role, and even more so to her employees and their development. She has often expressed how she loves to see an individual enter a new job or college one way and leave a completely different person with a new set of tools and skills. Her actions have repeatedly backed up this notion. One thing I will always remember about Jennifer is how she encouraged me to earn my Master's degree. When I repeatedly claimed I didn't have the time or energy to even consider it, she never disagreed with me, yet she never stopped subtly letting me know I could achieve it. Eventually, she got through to me and I started the degree program. She didn't stop there. She would constantly check in and motivate me when I needed the push to keep going. I can honestly say I would not have done it without her in my corner. She knew how important this was to my development and it was exactly what I needed at the time. As a leader, Jennifer always gave me the support I needed while giving the autonomy to figure things out on my own. This allowed me to find new ways to approach my role and my staff, which was incredibly effective. She still stepped in when necessary, with valuable insight from her vast experience. Jennifer is a leader that is easy to get on board with because she so clearly believes in doing the right thing for her company and her employees.
