Bio
Helder Sebastiao, PhD
Derek was an integral part of our iniatives in entrepreneurship during his two years at USD. He served as my Graduate Assistant and as Graduate President of the Entrepreneurship Club. During his tenure the E-Club evolved from a small tribe of entrepreneurship enthusiasts to a major campus organization which others try to emulate. He was instrumental in fostering linkages with student entrepreneurs at other San Diego schools, as well as with organizations such as MITEF, CONNECT, and SDVG. Derek also competed in the San Diego State Venture Challenge and was a student in my MBA Entrepreneurship course, typically rated as one of the most challenging and demanding in the program. Through his studies and experiences Derek has honed his skills in assessing new venture and funding opportunities, writing business plans, and preparing presentations for prospective investors. If you are in need of these services, I think you'll find Derek to be a very insightful, competent, dilligent, and professional resource.
