  Work collaboratively with other deans to ensure the wellbeing of all students, and respond to student, faculty, and/or parent crisis and concerns.   Serve as tenured faculty member engaging students in language acquisition through a variety of methods that encourage the development of oral, aural, written skills, and comprehension. Manage a $30,000 recruitment and travel budget. Attend department chair meetings and work closely with department chairs to determine long and short term hiring needs. Assist the dean of faculty with reviewing and revising the faculty handbook and the policies therein. Serve as ambassador for the school in every setting.   Oversee all aspects of admissions for a student body of 750 at Phillips Exeter Academy’s five-week academic enrichment program. Manage a $1 million financial aid budget. Develop strategies for fundraising, development, and alumni and donor relationships. Assign students their academic schedules, and make residential assignments. Track students’ academic performance and adjustment to the program. Manage active, nationwide recruitment effort for students, interns and instructors and consult on hiring process for interns. Assist the director in day-to-day administration of the program. Member of Summer School Advisory Board comprised of Academy trustees and administrators.
