  I had the exciting opportunity to intern with The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Policy & Advocacy team for the first-ever virtual edition of the foundation's Teen Advocacy Day! In collaboration with the team, we brought together around 150 teenagers from around the country to participate in a 2-day virtual event in which we educated and mobilize the teens to educate not just their legislators but also their community on the critical importance of expanding Paid Family & Medical Leave especially as it pertains to the Cystic Fibrosis Community.
