I use both an analytical and "boots on the ground" methodology.I provided analytical and operational support to the Secretariat of the Global Environment Facility (GEF, the largest source of public international funding for projects to address global environmental challenges), the World Bank, and the United States Congress. I also served as a consultant for the West African Development Bank on the Bank’s waste management and land degradation co-financing strategy and project portfolio. I bring experience in stakeholder facilitation, engagement, and analysis. For the West African Development Bank, I helped design a project on sustainable land management and the promotion of value chains for the resilience of local communities to climate change. I was responsible for interviewing stakeholders and beneficiaries in rural local communities and co-leading workshops with the project’s participants, including government agencies and the private sector, and integrating their needs and inputs into the project design documents. I bring experience evaluating innovative technologies. At the Global Environment Facility, I helped manage an accelerator program that supports innovative solutions and entrepreneurship for green technology solutions. I evaluated business plans as a member of a jury of experts and practitioners selected from both public and private sectors, including angel investors. As an independent journalist, I investigated how smart agriculture can help provide food security for local communities faced with fragility, conflict, and violence.
